This paper documents the conversion of a theoretical model for selecting the right identification technology for a given application into a working software application (tool) that assists the user through the selection process.
After a trademark dispute, the EPC Prototyping Platform is now called "Fosstrak" (previously Accada). Fosstrak stands for "free and open source software for track and trace".
